Scorpios Mykonos: The Complete Guide for 2026

The most iconic bohemian beach club in the Mediterranean. Here is everything you need to know before you visit Scorpios this summer.

6 min read

Of all the beach clubs on the island, Scorpios is the one that genuinely changed the conversation. When it opened on Paraga Beach, it introduced something Mykonos had not fully committed to before: a beach club experience built around ritual, sound, and atmosphere rather than pure spectacle. In 2026, it remains the most copied venue on the island — and the hardest to replicate.

What Scorpios Actually Is

Scorpios is a beach club, a restaurant, a bar, and a cultural venue simultaneously. The architecture is Cycladic — whitewashed stone, natural wood, terracotta — but the energy is something entirely its own. The music programme, which runs from afternoon into the early hours, mixes deep house, tribal rhythms, and Mediterranean percussion into a sound that has become as identifiable as the venue itself.

The food — wood-fired vegetables, fresh seafood, mezze-style sharing plates — is consistently excellent and often overlooked by visitors who come primarily for the music. It should not be. Arrive hungry.

Insider tip: Arrive by 4pm if you want a sunbed in the main terrace area. By 6pm, the best spots are gone and you will be standing. The sunset from the terrace at 8pm is one of the great moments in Mykonos.

The 2026 Season

Scorpios opens in late May and runs through early October. The high season weeks — the last two of July and all of August — are when the international crowd peaks and the music programme reaches its most ambitious. Artists in the deep house and organic house space feature heavily throughout the season. Check their official programme for confirmed dates.

Scorpios does not take traditional table reservations for sunbeds. Access is managed on arrival. VIP arrangements for groups are available through concierge services. Contact us directly and we will handle the access for your group.

Getting There and What to Expect

Scorpios sits on Paraga Beach, a 15-minute drive from Mykonos Town. The entrance is low-key — no velvet ropes, no aggressive door policy. The philosophy has always been that the right energy is a better filter than any guest list. That said, August weekends fill early and arrive with genuine intent rather than as a curiosity.

Other Partner Venues Nearby

Paraga Beach is home to more than Scorpios. SantAnna, another of the island's landmark beach clubs, sits on the same stretch and offers a complementary experience — higher-energy daytime parties with a more traditional Mykonos beach club atmosphere. Both are accessible on the same day for guests with the stamina.
